CWAM has been organizing Case Conferences for many years now. Its First International Conference in 2006 on Case Study Teaching and Learning was entitled ‘The Case for the Case Method: Learning from Experience.’ This was followed by the Second International Conference on Case Writing in Action in 2008 with the theme, ‘The Underlying Dynamics of the Case Method.’
In 2011, CWAM handled its Third International Conference on Case Writing with the title, ‘Innovative Case Writing Techniques that Facilitate Interactive Teaching and Learning: Emerging Trends.’ The Fourth International Conference on Case Writing by CWAM was on ‘The Value of the Case Study as a Research Strategy,’ and it was held in 2013. Two years after that, in 2015, CWAM conducted its Fifth International Conference on Case Writing with the theme ‘Writing and the Perils of Publishing Cases.’
This year, CWAM is expected to organize another Case Conference. We hope to be able to continue providing the case writers with an opportunity to exchange ideas and share experiences related to case research. Hope to see you there!
